Solution provides nation-wide support for integration and transmission to over 60 immunization registries
Houston, Texas – (August 2, 2013) – NewCrop, the leading provider of healthcare electronic prescribing services, announced the availability of a nation-wide Immunization Registry Reporting Service (IRRS). The reporting service utilizes advanced data management and communication capabilities designed by NewCrop. IRRS supports the integration and transmission of patient immunization records to more than 60 immunization registries located through the U.S.
Any Electronic Health Record System (EHR) can utilize NewCrop as the translation and communication vehicle for patient immunization records. NewCrop will receive immunization records from each EHR, reformat data to meet requirements of the designated immunization registry and transmit the data on behalf of the medical provider’s EHR. Thus, NewCrop will manage the communication of data to each of the applicable registries.
“IRRS will take a substantial burden off EHR’s. For 10 years, our approach to e-prescribing has been to provide complex infrastructure so that our EMRs can focus on the needs of their doctor-customers. We are pleased to extend our services to this challenging MU2014 requirement.”, said Lawrence Susnow, M.D., Co-founder and Chief Medical Officer at NewCrop.
Watch for coming announcements related to additional services offered by NewCrop.
